Ministry of Tourism and EuroCham Cambodia agree to jointly attract tourism investment through events and promotions

The Ministry of Tourism and the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia will work together to attract investment in tourism through events and promotions aimed at promoting Cambodia’s tourism development to become a leading global tourism destination.

The agreement was reached during a working meeting between Sok Soken, Minister of Tourism, and a delegation from the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia led by Tassilo Brinzer, chairman of EuroCham Cambodia, on February 12, 2024, at the Ministry of Tourism.

The talks also focused on strengthening cooperation and partnerships between the public and private sectors to promote the development of Cambodia’s tourism sector and make it a leading global tourism destination.

During the meeting, the chairman of the EuroCham Cambodia stressed the main task of the EuroCham Cambodia in contributing to the development of Cambodia, especially in attracting investors from European countries and the world to invest in Cambodia in all areas, including tourism.

Soken and Tassilo agreed to work together to attract investment in tourism through events and promotions aimed at promoting the development of Cambodia’s tourism sector and making it a leading global tourism destination.

The two sides discussed the importance of increasing information sharing for the mutual benefit of developing effective strategies to boost tourism.

On that occasion, the chairman of EuroCham Cambodia also expressed his efforts to prepare a “White Book on Tourism and Hospitality 2024” along with “EuroCham White Book 2024 and the results of the Eurocham Business Survey 2024”. Fresh News
