
Zakat Foundation of America Provides Iftar Meals to 4,000 Muslims in Cambodia During Ramadan 2025

Phnom Penh, Cambodia – March 30 , 2025 — In the spirit of Ramadan, beside the food packages, the Zakat Foundation of America has extended a generous helping hand by providing Iftar meals to 4,000 Muslims across Cambodia. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Cambodian Muslim Media Center, reaching villagers, orphans, and students residing in hostels.
The Iftar meals were distributed across various villages, Phum 4 Villlage in Phnom Penh , Kampong chhanng , Kampong cham .. bringing comfort and joy to thousands of families during the holy month. This charitable act ensured that underprivileged communities could break their fast with dignity and ease.
Dr. Sles Nazy, President of Cambodian Muslim Media Center along with the beneficiaries, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Zakat Foundation of America for their compassion and generosity. “This project has brought not only nourishment but also hope and unity to our people during this sacred time,” said Dr. Nazy.
