U.S. Nuclear-Capable B-52 Bomber Crashes in California, Killing 8 Crew Members

A U.S. B-52 nuclear-capable bomber crashed at Edwards Air Force Base in the state of California, resulting in the deaths of eight aircrew members.

The aircraft crashed at approximately 11:20 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026 (U.S. time), shortly after takeoff.

The crash occurred during a training flight. The cause has not yet been determined and remains under investigation.
