Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has welcomed the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Cambodia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), believing that it will bring benefits for the two nations.

H.E. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi informed Samdech Techo Prime Minister about his fruitful meetings with Cambodian ministers of foreign affairs and international cooperation, commerce, environment, and tourism.
He added that CEPA will bring the two economies and peoples closer together and promote bilateral cooperation in existing potential areas.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen encouraged the UAE side to consider investing in rice milling, storage and purchase network, and cashew and cassava processing for export to the UAE and other countries.
At the same time, the Prime Minister asked the UAE to consider a double taxation agreement to encourage investors and the establishment of direct flights between the two countries.
Following the courtesy meeting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen witnessed the signing ceremony of CEPA between H.E. Pan Sorasak, Cambodian Minister of Commerce, and H.E. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.
