New Events Planned to Attract Tourists to Visit Siem Reap Province

Ministry of Tourism and Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport will collaborate in organising new and international tourism events to attract more national and international tourists to visit Siem Reap province.

The planned collaboration was reached during a meeting here on July 8 between H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism and Mr. Lu WEI, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Angkor International Airport Investment (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., and his colleague.

On the occasion, Mr. Lu WEI reported to H.E. Minister on the situation of tourists travelling through Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport, and sought recommendations and high support for the project to organise new and international tourism events.

H.E. Huot Hak expressed his appreciation for the company’s efforts in helping to continuously boost the growth of air passengers, as well as the company’s excellent initiative in seeing the rich tourism potential and investment opportunities of Siem Reap province.

H.E. Minister noted that these new, attractive, and international tourism events align perfectly with the Cambodia-China Tourism Year 2025 campaign, which seeks to draw more national and international tourists to Siem Reap and Cambodia as a whole.AKP
