The Chinese-flagged luxury cruise ship Zhao Shang Yi Dun docked at the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port on Saturday, bringing 266 international tourists and 330 crew members to Preah Sihanouk province.The visitors, representing 18 nationalities, were greeted by officials from the Provincial Department of Tourism. During the welcome, staff provided briefings on the province’s main coastal attractions and tourism potential.

The 228-metre vessel arrived from Vietnam and was scheduled to depart for Thailand at 5pm that day. According to port specifications, the ship has a width of 28.8 metres and a draft of 6.6 metres.

Preah Sihanouk Governor Mang Sineth said the visit signals a positive outlook for the region’s recovery and appeals to international markets.

“The arrival of international cruise ships demonstrates that Preah Sihanouk province and Cambodia as a whole remain peaceful, politically stable, and open for tourism and investment,” Sineth said. AKP
