Thai military forces continued to attack Cambodian civilian areas in Poipet city, Banteay Meanchey province on Monday evening.At 8:59 p.m., Thai forces fired two flare gun rounds into the area of Sangkat Phsar Kandal, Poipet city (Street 58), said the Ministry of National Defence in a news release on Monday evening.
According to the Ministry, Cambodian forces remain on high alert and are closely monitoring the situation along the border. They maintain a firm, vigilant, and resolute posture as they carry out their duties to defend Cambodia’s territorial integrity and national dignity, at any cost, without succumbing to coercion or intimidation.
