More than 425,000 people have been forced to flee their homes to seek safety as a result of the Thai invasion of Cambodian territory, which entered its tenth day today, according to Minister of Information Neth Pheaktra.

“As of 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 16, there were 127,469 displaced families, or 425,453 displaced persons, including 219,052 women and 131,270 children,” he shared on his social media platforms.

According to the Ministry of Interior, between 6:00 p.m. on Dec. 15 and 7:00 a.m. on Dec. 16, 2025, 15 civilians were killed and 76 others injured as a result of the Thai military’s aggressive and indiscriminate attacks against Cambodia.

Thai forces have continued to shell, bomb, and use toxic gas on Cambodian territory, with most attacks targeting civilian infrastructure, including schools, pagodas, ancient temples, residential areas, roads, and bridges. AKP
