The Muslim World League will host Islam-Buddhism Summit in Cambodia on Feb. 27, 2025 at the Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.
The opening ceremony of the summit will be held under the presidency of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, said on Feb. 25 H.E. Dr. Othsman Hassan, Senior Minister in Charge of Special Mission on Cambodian Islamic Affairs and a member of the Supreme Council of the Muslim World League.
The meeting will focus on sharing knowledge and experience in building a peaceful and religious harmonious society, he said.
H.E. Dr. Othsman Hassan added that organising the Islam-Buddhism Summit will allow other countries to learn from Cambodia’s experience in building peace, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence between people of different ethnicities and religions.
About 200 foreign delegates from 35 countries and a total of approximately 1,000 participants will attend the forthcoming summit, according to the senior minister.
