The 228-metre vessel arrived from Vietnam and was scheduled to depart for Thailand at 5pm that day. According to port specifications, the ship has a width of 28.8 metres and a draft of 6.6 metres.
Preah Sihanouk Governor Mang Sineth said the visit signals a positive outlook for the region’s recovery and appeals to international markets.
“The arrival of international cruise ships demonstrates that Preah Sihanouk province and Cambodia as a whole remain peaceful, politically stable, and open for tourism and investment,” Sineth said. AKP
