Cambodia’s Minister of Women’s Affairs, Dr. Ing Kantha Phavi, delivered essential supplies to military units stationed on the country’s front lines on Monday, in a show of support for troops defending what the Royal Government describes as Cambodia’s territorial integrity.
The minister led a delegation of ministry officials and business representatives to distribute food and other items to soldiers engaged in border security operations.
In a ceremony with troops, Kantha Phavi praised the soldiers’ courage and sacrifices under the leadership of Senate President Hun Sen and Prime Minister Hun Manet. She also urged national unity and called on the public to trust the Royal Government’s handling of the situation, cautioning against sharing unverified information.
The minister offered condolences to the families of soldiers killed in action and wished for the success of those currently deployed.
The visit highlights the Royal Government’s direct involvement in bolstering military morale amid persistent tensions along the Cambodia-Thailand border. AKP
