Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, Kung Phoak, had a bilateral meeting with Michelle CHAN, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Australia’s ASEAN SOM Leader.The Senior officials of both countries had a bilateral meeting in the margins of the 36th ASEAN-Australia Forum in Melbourne, Australia on February 5, 2024.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the meeting discussed the preparation for the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit to Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Relations which will be held on 4-6 March 2024 in Melbourne, Australia.
Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interests and concerns.
