The section of National Road 76, Mondulkiri-Phnom Penh, was temporarily closed to motorbikes, cars, and trucks since it collapsed last night and could not be used. Therefore, those who have to travel in and out of Phnom Penh-Mondulkiri must detour along National Road 76, but in a different way from Mondulkiri to Ratanakkiri.
According to an official of the Department of Public Works and Transport of Mondulkiri Province, during the temporary traffic suspension, people who want to travel from Phnom Penh to Mondulkiri or from Mondulkiri to Phnom Penh must detour to travel along National Road 76 in another direction through Ratanakkiri, Stung Treng, Kratie, or other detours.
During the rehabilitation and repair of the national road in the above area, the Department of Public Works and Transport of Mondulkiri Province asked those who needed to use this road to have understanding.
The Department of Public Works and Transport also confirmed that the professional officers will start repairing or making the detour according to the procedure today or tomorrow to solve the travel problem for the people as soon as possible. Kampuchea Thmey
