Computer Lab at the Cambodia University of Management and Technology (CUMT) under the auspices of a Singapore philanthropist through the Emaan Cambodia Foundation, it was officially launched.

Phnom Penh: The Cambodia University of Management and Technology (CUMT) on July 2, 2023, organized the inauguration ceremony of EMAAN COMPUTER LAB, which was supported by the Imaan Foundation Cambodia, equipped with computers and equipment total budget of about $ 34,500.

The event was attended by H.E Dr. Hosen Mohamad Farid, Chairman of the Board of The Cambodia University of Management and Technology (CUMT), H.E Dr. Sles Nazy, Rector, Mr. Haji Mohamad Kahliab, President of the Eman Foundation of Singapore, and the accompanying delegation, Academic staff and students of CUMT University.

His Excellency Dr. Sles Nazy, Rector of CUMT University, said that the support received from the Eman Foundation today is very important to complete the need for technical equipment to be used for the practical implementation for all students those who are studying basic classes in computer science.

In addition, H.E Dr. Hosen Mohamad Farid, Chairman of the Board of the Cambodia University of Management and Technology (CUMT) expressed his pleasure and gratitude to the Eman Foundation, especially Mr. Haji Mohd Kahliab, President of the Eman Foundation of Singapore for his cooperation and provide auspices University for needy students Opportunity to expand knowledge on technology. He also requested that the Eman Foundation continue to cooperate in the development of the university in terms of materials and curriculum.

On that occasion, Haji Mohd Kahliab, President of the Eman Foundation of Singapore, urged all students to help maintain these computers for long-term use and encourage students to study hard for the benefit of society in the future. He also thanked all the benefactors who participated in this project. And he will examine the possibility of helping as much as possible by joining the university in training and capacity building for students through other educational programs.

It should be noted that in addition to supporting the organization of computer labs now, The Eman Foundation also donated 10 laptops to students with disabilities to use in their studies.
