Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sok Chenda Sophea has held a bilateral talks with Yván Gil Pinto, Minister of the People’s Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on Sept. 28, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
On the occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister is pleased that despite geographical distance, Cambodia always attaches great importance to deepening and enhancing friendly ties and cooperation with
Yván Gil Pinto expressed sincere thanks to the Deputy Prime Minister for the opportunity to meet during the busy time of UNGA79 and conveyed appreciation for the close cooperation between the two countries.
Both foreign ministers also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern. AKP
